Basic Needs
Each month we aim to raise $4,950 to cover the recurring costs associated with providing shelter, food, and medicine to both Ibonde and Jinja Children’s Homes. The order of priority is shown below, starting with Jinja rent and ending with medication for Ibonde.
Shelter
$0 is allocated to Ibonde Children’s Home for shelter as the property is already owned by the founders of the orphanage
$1,500 is allocated to Jinja Children’s Home for renting the compound that it resides on
Food
$1,400 is allocated to Ibonde Children’s Home for food (see breakout below)
$600 is allocated to Jinja Children’s Home for food (see breakout below)
Medicine
$100 is allocated to Ibonde Children’s Home for miscellaneous medicine and feminine products
$1,350 is allocated to Jinja Children’s Home for HIV/AIDs medicine
